World Champion Martin Hangl on Samnaun ski resort
Our 1989 Super G World Champion, Martin Hangl, is still passionate about skiing today. Although he’s soared down slopes on four continents, he still believes the Silvretta Arena in Samnaun/Ischgl is one of the best ski resorts in the world. Martin’s tip: The GOLD smuggler’s circuit, on which you’ll explore the border area along the trails of coffee and chocolate smugglers. With 37.2 kilometres of slopes and 6,870 metres of elevation difference, the circuit is particularly challenging. Afterwards, it’s well worth stopping off at our Schmuggler-Alm in Samnaun to enjoy fine Swiss Alpine cuisine.
In winter, our Swiss ski school awaits you in the Hangl world, while our bike academy offers individual group and private courses in the Home of Trails. That means: Whatever the season, here with us, you can learn the joy of moving on two wheels or two skis from genuine mountain sports experts.
